Beautiful Bollywood Brides

The innovative, grand and stupendous wedding celebration from reel to real is generally out of the world and an ostentatious display of wealth and style. Bollywood Weddings are talked about long after and tinsel town has had the most amazing weddings. The lehenga is every girls dream and months ahead the décor, the clothes are all decided much in advance. The wedding planners have eveything ready.  Fabrics used today are innovative and certainly these lehengas are over the top, very elegant and expensive.

The wedding of the world’s most beautiful woman cannot go unnoticed and who can forget the alliance of the grandson, of an illustrious, literary family of UP and  a Mangalorean beauty. In other words Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. The  Bollywood’s golden couple and it is obvious that the wedding ceremony of the world’s  most beautiful woman Aishwarya Rai and son of legendary Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, had to be a must attend kind of function. The wedding had guests from holly wood and bollywood. The sarees had been customized at Varanasi and the cost of the sarees was not disclosed. Aishwarya was looking like a dream and almost like a goddess. The lehanga was out of the world. And the couple looked fantastic almost like a page from history of a wedding of a prince and princess and they happily after…

In an English wedding the bride wears something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue and a sixpence in her shoe. All this would good luck in the wedding. The we have destination weddings which are the delight of the affluent. Another wedding which was different was Gul Penang, The tall and lissome beauty love for mobikes is legendary. So for her wedding Gul wore an onion pink lehenga with traditional gold jewellery with heavy earrings.  Gul and her husband, Gurshwinder Singh Attari, who is a commercial pilot, sat on a motorbike, and Gul even put on a chic pair of aviators to give her ‘unusual’ wedding a festive look…  Gota patti and was used to embellish the entire ensemble which made it look vibrant and exquisite. The turbaned groom Gurshinder Singh Attari looked like a royal prince. BT what we loved was the radiant and boisterous bride.

When Shilpa Shetty got married to London-based businessman Raj Kundra.  The couple’s wedding was a grand affair. Shilpa and Raj’

Shilpa Shetty’s wedding saree that had red Swarovski crystals embedded on it costed Rs 50 lakh! It’s not just her clothes, Shilpa also splurged on her wedding jewellery and her majestic kundan jewellery with uncut diamonds and emeralds is believed to have cost close to Rs 3 crore. According to gossip magazines, Shilpa and Raj’s nine-tier wedding cake at their reception weighed over 80 kg!

Then the love story of royalty in Bollywood. The Nawab of Pataudi, the wedding of Kareena and Saif after a courtship of five years. They had a registered wedding and grand reception where Kareena looked heavenly and Saif a true Nawab.

Lehangas are beautiful to wear and make the best wear for weddings. The saree lehengas that Shatika has are very chic and I suggest that before your wedding does visit our site and taste our wares and I promise you will not be disappointed.

We have another radiant bride to catch. Bipasa who has since then returned from their vacation. Bips was looking a very beautiful bride. She is now Bipasa Basu Singh Grover. We loved her lehenga that she wore for her wedding.

Saree lehenga or the full swirl lehenga, embellished with gota kinari, arri work or sequined with precious stones  look divine and add that extra touch of magic.
